The Sony Xperia TL (LT30at) was formally announced yesterday for AT&T in the United States and now the product page for the handset has appeared. In most respects, the Xperia TL is identical to the Sony Xperia T (LT30p), save for the fact that it has LTE and a metallic rear cover.
The press renders show that the middle part of the rear of the phone is separated from the top and bottom, highlighting a different material in use compared to the plastic rear of the Xperia T which has no separation. We’re still waiting to see how this looks in the flesh, however AT&T hasn’t given us a scheduled launch date, so we may be waiting a while for these to appear.
