Some new firmware was recently certified by the PTCRB for both the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc and Xperia arc S. Version number 4.0.2.A.0.69 looks like it will only offer bug fixes over the previous firmware (4.0.2.A.0.62), so we wouldn’t get too excited just yet.
New firmware was also certified for the upcoming Sony Xperia S. We have no idea if the handset will launch with this new firmware (6.0.A.3.62), but it shouldn’t be too much longer before we see some retail Xperia S samples floating around. We’ll keep you posted with any developments.
