The re-entry of Jack Dorsey, Twitter's creator, as an executive in March looks positive for Twitter so far with the company making its biggest announcement since his re-arrival.
Twitter’s latest facelift revolves around making the microblogging service easier to use and to help companies better showcase their brands.
"It's not just a visual redesign but a conceptual redesign to make Twitter more accessible to the next billion users," said Satya Patel, a Twitter senior executive. Twitter Chief Executive Dick Costolo added, "We have to provide the simplest and fastest way for people around the world to connect to everything they care about".
The new redesign will start rolling out globally over the next few weeks (starting today) and will add a section to every Twitter user's account called "Stories" that shows them content on Twitter they may find interesting.
Give us your comments about the redesign when you see it.
