Targus Launches New Laser Presentation Remote
Targus has launched the Targus Laser Presentation Remote (AMP13AP), a wireless multimedia laser presenter with a patent-pending KeyLock technology that prevents accidental pressing of buttons during a presentation. Targus Laser Presentation Remote (AMP13AP) is an addition to Targus Multimedia Presentation Remote (AMP09AP) which is already available in India.

According to a press release, this device also sports a button that helps flash a blank screen at any stage of the presentation to bring the attention of the audience to the speaker or to facilitate a discussion. The same button can be used to restore the presentation to the same slide as well. The Targus Laser Presentation Remote features a simplistic button layout, and the integrated laser pointer allows the one presenting to highlight important content while the backlit buttons provide visibility in environments with low lighting. The RF 2.4GHz cordless technology works from up to 50 ft away or 15 meters; expanding the periphery of mobility. It also lets you control the PowerPoint presentation without having to point in the direction of the laptop.
A slot to store the mini USB receiver has been provided within the device that reduces the chances of misplacement. The back-up battery compartment stores an emergency battery and the plug-and-play device comes ready to use as it bundled with it are two AAA Energizer MAX batteries. The device is compatible with Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh systems.
Targus Laser Presentation Remote is available in Staples stores and at other outlets across India at an MRP of Rs. 1999/-.
